Established in July 2002, Vietnam National University, Hanoi – International School (VNU-IS) is one of the first higher education institutions to offer joint international training programs.
Since its foundation, VNU-IS has recorded remarkable developments in both training scope and quality. From a small institution only offering one undergraduate program in Russian, the School has designed and successfully offered a number of joint international undergraduate and graduate programs conducted in foreign languages.
Academic programs at VNU-IS are designed for students to reach their full potential and so to succeed in the real world. Having partnership with more than 30 universities worldwide, VNU-IS has wide experiences in hosting international visiting professors and overseas students from Europe, America, Africa and Asia as well as in building an international environment. Our community of professors and students comprise a rich mix of cultures. This diversity adds vibrancy and depth, fresh understanding and broad perspective to our work. A moderate class size at VNU-IS also ensures a friendly atmosphere and a very personal level of support for students.
Foreign students will be assisted with visa application, accommodation arrangement and support with other activities facilitating their integration. With the reasonable tuition fees, students can approach to the curricula, methodology, assessment, evaluation of international standards. Besides on-class activities, students have opportunity to participate in exciting extra-curricular ones that help students be more flexible and adaptable to the multi-cultural working environment and study further upon graduation. Students will be granted degrees by Vietnam National University, Hanoi and foreign University which is world-wide recognized.
ACADEMIC
* English Preparatory Program
The English Preparatory Program which consists of 5 levels (from 1 to 5). This program equips students with knowledge of language and practical skills such as Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking in or der to sutyd VNU-IS’s training programs or transfer to partner universities. After completing this program, students will have a thorough grasp of basic and professional knowledge of language, and have ability to pass international English proficiency testing such as Level 4 in Vietnamese Standardized Test of English Proficiency, IELTS, TOELF, etc
Due to their levels showed in the placement test, students will be placed at appropriate levels from 1 to 5
